The West of England Thematic Society (WETS) was formed over ten years ago by a small group of philatelists and stamp collectors looking for more interesting ways to both collect and display their collections based upon themes.
From these early days the society has expanded to be one of the fastest growing and most dynamic societies in South West England. WETS members are now having significant influence at National and International Level.

The society draws most of its members from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, with many of those members also belonging to clubs or societies affiliated to:-
Cornwall Philatelic Federation.
Wessex Philatelic Federation.
Somerset & Dorset Philatelic Federation.
We also have members from farther afield.

WETS is affiliated to the following bodies.
Wessex Philatelic Federation.
Association of British Philatelic Societies.
British Thematic Association.

We have an enthusiastic and a knowledgeable membership who are always willing to help the new or more experienced collector.
