the Association of British Philatelic Societies.

The society was formed from the former Toquay Philatelic Society as of
January 2010. Read the history of Torquay Philatelic Society here.
The club draws its membership from a wide area of South Devon offering
some lively and interesting meetings.
If you are a collector of philatelic material in any of its forms why not join us.

& Femail members of all age groups.

The club runs the following
Annual Philatelic Competitions open to all members
Ladies Presentation Cup - General (Not Thematic) - 8 sheets
John Hepburn Challenge Cup - Postal History - 16 sheets
Ethel Cottey Cup - Thematics - 8 sheets
For members who have not won a competition in the last 3 years.
John Nicholson Cup - Any Subject - 5-10 sheets preceeded by an
optional talk of up to 5 mins.
One Sheet Competition. - Any Subject
MEETINGS - held on 2nd & 4th Thursday
(but different arrangements in 2021-22 Winter)
at St Michaels Church Hall, Chudleigh Road, Kingsteignton, TQ12 3JU.

HOT NEWS
14th October 2021
Stamp dealer Bill Barrell will be the visiting speaker at a Torquay &
Teignbridge Stamp Club's meeting in October.
This is part of the Bill Barrell Roadshow tour across the south west, which
also takes in Salisbury and Cornwall.
Bill will be presenting his amazing display entitled "Great Britain Postal
History 1584 to 1840 and the Penny value 1840 to 1880" - an international
award-winning exhibit, with many rarities.
Bill will also be bringing part of his extensive stock of excellent material for
you to purchase.
The event will take place at St. Michael's Church Hall, Chudleigh Road,
Kingsteignton, TQ12 3JU, starting at 19:00 on Thursday, 14th October 2021,
and all are welcome. This promises to be a rare and eventful evening!
